By Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing) I review the process of creating the PCB layout from the completed schematic.
This author has not written his bio yet.
But we are proud to say that Mikhael contributed 18 entries already.
By Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing) I review the process of creating the PCB layout from the completed schematic.
By Jeremy Seiden (Mission, Systems, and Test) I walk through the software design on the dosimeter/SEU-detection instrument, from data flow block diagrams into packetization and reception at a ground research station.
By Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing) We conduct a trade-off study to decide between a CCD FPV camera and a CMOS camera for detecting single-event upsets (SEUs).
By Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing) I examine the pros and cons of Fall 2015’s PCB form factor versus the PC/104 standard.
By Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing) I discuss and walk through the hardware design of the overall cube satellite, including an exploded view of the payload and of the entire chassis.
We present notes from our meeting with Mr. Gary Hill, the EE 400D instructor, following our CDR presentation.
This document outlines the preliminary Level 1 and 2 requirements for the projects, subsystem engineer-made task breakdowns, a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Preliminary Project Plan (PPP), a link to a Burn Down calculation/chart, and system resource and cost breakdowns.
By Mikhael Semaan (Project Manager), with contribution from Jeremy Seiden (Mission, Systems, and Test), Chelsea Mediavilla (Electronics and Control), and Eric Hanna (Design and Manufacturing).
We review our roles through Club-provided reference material and through previous semesters’ blog posts. From this review, we formulate preliminary Level 1 Requirements, hint at Level 2 Requirements, and provide ideas for the direction of our project towards achieving the Club’s goals.
