Project Schedule
By Daniel Vergara (Project Manager)
Systems / Subsystems Task
This schedule, although not a visual representation, is a schedule of Pathfinder tasks to be completed through different phases of the Engineering Design Method. These phases include Planning, Preliminary Design, Critical Design, and Assembly & Launch. This schedule of task is part of the iterative Engineering Method and so it will change over time.
Project Burndown

A visual representation of the Pathfinder’s linear task achievement vs. actual task achievement. Actual task achievement flatlines at Week 6 since we have yet to complete work after that time.

Cost Estimate
By Daniel Vergara (Project Manager)
The Spring 17 Pathfinder is an inherited project. Because of this, most of the materials have been handed down from previous generations and we consider these materials to be free. Even so, our estimated project cost reaches a fairly high dollar amount, almost up to $350, with our estimated cost to be $315.40. Our contingent dollar amount is nearly $100 which is a positive sing since we have over estimated the cost of materials and are still under budget allocation. Out most expensive items will be our largely encapsulated 6V solar cells and brand new cocoon/articulation mechanism worm gears.
